Weddings

Are you planning a wedding on one of the beautiful Mornington Peninsula beaches, parks or gardens? Or perhaps in one of our many gorgeous wineries or other venues?

I can help you make the planning process enjoyable and stress-free.

At our initial meeting, we will discuss your thoughts on the design of your ceremony. I will provide you with an information kit to help you plan your wedding ceremony. Aside from the legal requirements of the ceremony, you can include whatever you wish, whether it be particular rituals, wording of vows or themes to enable you to customise your wedding.

At this meeting, you sign the Notice of Intended Marriage, which must be done no later than a month before the wedding.

Prior to the wedding, I must sight the following documents:

  • Photo ID, such as a driver licence or passport
  • If you were born in Australia, either an ORIGINAL birth certificate or a passport
  • If you were not born in Australia – either an ORIGINAL Birth Certificate or an overseas passport
  • Either Divorce Order or Death Certificate of spouse (if applicable)
    See www.ag.gov.au for further details

Between the initial meeting and your wedding day, we will communicate as often as necessary to finalise the details.

On your wedding day, my state of the art PA system ensures everyone can hear the ceremony. You will also receive a lovely bound copy of the ceremony as a memento.

The most important thing is that you enjoy organising your wedding day and I will be there to help you, every step of the way!

Kerry, you were a delight to work with when it came to getting Colby and I ready for our big day. On our first meeting you took the time to get to know us and to understand our needs and desires. As we are second time rounders, we didn’t want the fuss and we could see that you could see that. I laugh now as it was like having coffee with a friend, you made us feel comfortable. You are warm, caring and genuine and this is reflected in your personality, how you conduct yourself and your unique ability to relate to all.  I feel confident that you Kerry would make every bride and groom (and their family and friends) day a huge success regardless of the type of ceremony planned. Thank you Kerry from the bottom of my heart.
